Divisions: Three Divisions, larger schools, medium schools and smaller schools - 6 each.

Admission: $4.00 - Pre-school free.
T-shirts: Quality t-shirts will be available at a more than reasonable price. $10.00 per shirt. Limited quantity - call if you want to pre order.
Awards: 1) Three (3) places for individual events in both divisions. 2) Three places for relays in each division. 3) Trophies to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams in each division and 25 (25) team medals to each 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place team.
Entries (1): Three (3) athletes per individual event and one (1) relay team per relay event.
Entries (2): 1) All entries will be online at http://www.directathletics.com. INITIAL entries are due on Sunday, May 04 by 5:00 pm. 2) INITIAL performance lists will be posted online at http://frontpage.tripod.cpm/almaxctf that evening. They should also be at www.alma.edu and follow the link to Men's or Women's Track and Field. 3) Any changes, FINAL entries, can be made up to Thursday, May 08 at 12:00 noon. 4) I would encourage you to go online well ahead of time to get used to the entries program (Direct Athletics) and it's ease of use. I have found if you follow the instructions line by line it is very easy.
Scoring: 1) Individual events score all athletes. For example, if there are 8 teams competing, 24 places would be scored from 24 down to 1. Relays would score 48 down to 6. 2) Pyro Bright and Eagle Eye DV fully automatic timing timing will be in effect accurate to .016. 3) Hy-Tek computer scoring will be used. 4) Heats will be designed with all runners competing together. But, team points and medals will be divided by division.
Shoes: 1/4 inch or less spikes allowable. This is a brand new track and we want to keep it nice!
Events: 1) High Jump / Pole Vault will be five alive. 2) Long Jump will be open order with four (4) jumps, no finals. 2 1/2 hours per gender! 3) Shot Put and Discus will get four (4) puts/throws, no finals, from shorter to longer seeds. format will be 2-2. 4) Running events are all timed finals with no prelims or semis.
Bus Parking: Park east and south of the stadium in parking areas there.
Time Schedule:
10:00 - Field Events - Weigh in shots at event site. Gender order will by by MHSAA yearly guidelines.

110m/100m High Hurdles - 12 heats (B/G) of 8
100m Dash - 12 heats of 8
4x200m Relay - 4 heats of 8
1600m Run - 4 heats of 24
4x100m Relay - 4 heats of 8
400m Dash - 12 heats of 8
300m Hurdles - 12 heats of 8
800m Run - 4 heats of 24
200m Dash - 12 heats of 8
3200m Run - 4 heats of 24
4x400m Relay - 4 heats of 8
This will be a rolling schedule and ran as fast as possible. Have your athletes pay attention to the announcer. Athletes need to be at the clerking area when called.
Pole Vault / High Jump Heights:
Note: If down to the late few athletes and a meet record height, MHSAA qualifier, etc. is attainable raises will be by mutual consent. When I find out what the MHSAA qualifying heights are one of the heights will be set at that mark.
